Pretty exciting couple of weeks in the shop! We ‘rescued’ a Delta DJ-20 jointer (made in 1988) from an old building where it was sitting gathering rust. Stripped it down to every individual part to clean it. A lot of WD40, mineral spirits, cleaning, and polishing later we have a beautiful 8” jointer. Installed a Byrd Tool Corp Shelix cutter head from Grizzly Industrial, Inc.. Amazing cut, much quieter, and super smooth finish. Can’t wait to run some lumber through it for a project!

…..Now to install a Shelix head in our DeWalt DW735 planer….

A pretty cool build we did recently: a rear seat delete on our Gen 3 Tacoma.

This starts with a “box” that perfectly fits up against the rear of the front seats. It contains 3 compartments for storage of tools and gear.

The main surface is 2 pieces of plywood that hinge on the original seat hinges, allowing access to the original storage under the seats.

All of the surfaces were covered with automotive carpet to make it comfortable for our pup on car rides.

Made from oak. Overall dimensions are 15” X 12.5” X4”. Compartment is 11.5” X 10.5” X 2.25”, easily big enough for multiple accessories. Clocks do not come with a lock, but a magnetic lock can be added for $10.

Finally finished this huge flag for a repeat customer! This thing turned out beautiful. 4+ layers of gloss finish really makes it pop. Plenty of room for an AR, mags, ammo, gear, and handguns. The area behind the stars is meant to have foam, it just wasn't installed for this. Shoot us a message and we can get yours started today!
