LIVE EDGE BLACK WALNUT TABLE / DESK.

THIS HEIRLOOM QUALITY PIECE WAS CREATED FROM A RECLAIMED PIECE OF BLACK WALNUT THAT HAS BEEN KILN DRIED AND HEAT TREATED.

THIS ONE OF A KIND PIECE MEASURES 43" WIDE AT WIDE END & 32" AT NARROW. THE AVERAGE WIDTH OF THIS 8' LONG PIECE IS 38". THE TOP MEASURES SLIGHTLY OVER 2" THICK.

THE CRACKS AND OTHER VOIDS IN THE SLAB WERE FILLED WITH A JET BLACK EPOXY RESIN. THE TOP WAS THEN SANDED TO A 500 GRIT FINISH AND THEN OILED WITH A VERY HEAT AND WEAR RESISTANT OIL TO GIVE A MATTE FINISH.

THE PIECE HAS VARIOUS DIFFERENT GRAIN PATTERNS AND COLOR TONES. PICTURES DO NOT ADEQUATELY SHOW THE BEAUTY OF THIS PIECE.

THE TOP CAN BE MOUNTED TO EITHER A MODERN "X" SHAPED SET OF STEEL LEGS OR A RECTANGULAR SET OF STEEL LEGS TO GIVE A HEIGHT OF 30.5".

PIECE COULD ALSO BE SUPPLIED WITH HIGHER LEGS OR POSSIBLY EVEN WOODEN LEGS OR A WOODEN BASE.

THE TOP ALONE CAN BE PURCHASED FOR $2395. THE TOP WOULD MAKE A BEAUTIFUL ISLAND TOP.

This album contains photos of a recently completed Monkeypod Table. Table is a single slab of wood from Costa Rica.

Table measure 10.5' long and varies from 54" at wide end to 41" at narrow. Average width of table is around 48". Thickness is 2"

All colors are natural with exception of voids which were filled with black epoxy. Top is sanded to a 500 grit finish and finished with multiple coats of heat resistant and wear resistant oil.

When finishing the table 2 bullets were discovered in the slab and remain.

Table is shown with rectangular leg at one end and "X" leg at other for visualization. Other legs or bases could also be supplied.

BLACK WALNUT DINING/CONFERENCE TABLE. TABLE MEASURES 8'x45" WIDE AND IS 1.25" THICK.

TABLE HAS VOIDS FILLED WITH EPOXY AND TOP IS THEN OIL FINISHED. AMAZING GRAINING AND SUPER SMOOTH FINISH

This album includes photos of a recently completed Monkeypod (Acacia wood) Dining Table. The slab was imported from Costa Rica.

It varies in width from 40" at the wide end, 38/39" in center, and around 33" at narrow end. It is a single slab 2.25" thick. The top is mounted to a set of steel legs. The top has been finely sanded and coated with very durable oil finish.

The slab has many different grain patterns and a wide range of tones. Colors range from a creamy white to very dark browns, intermixed are colors of oranges and grays.
