Akke Functional Art is a modern furniture design studio dedicated to exploring the dynamic between natural and industrial elements by incorporating both finished and live edge slabs of wood with metal, glass, and stone. Each piece is built to serve a practical purpose and add a unique element of modern design to both residential and commercial spaces. These are signature pieces designed to inspire

and provoke. Akke Functional Art represents the next step in the development of the Akke brand, which started with Akke Woodworks, Ltd., in 2006. We have expanded our scope from traditional millwork to include the development of modern furniture, continuing to emphasize our core values of passion and integrity which have helped establish akke woodworks as a leader in fine interior carpentry.
