As many of you know, GeezLouise closed for good last November (2019). It was a difficult decision for me, but one that I instinctively had no doubt about. I see people all the time who say they miss me and they miss the shop and, rather than making me sad, it makes me very proud. I did this thing that was pretty great and very fun and added value to our community.

These days I am shaking my head in astonishment at what is happening in our world with the COVID-19. If I was still in business, now would be the time I would be starting the monumental task of bringing in, evaluating, tagging, and displaying all of the inventory. Except.....I wouldn’t be able to with everything that is going on now. I would be stuck - unable to take in inventory and unable to open.....and, yet, still paying rent. I marvel - and am immensely grateful- at how the universe has managed to put me in the right places at the right times. I hope we all can appreciate those kind of miracles.

Thank you to all of you who made GeezLouise work so well for 12 magical seasons. Be safe, be healthy, and be kind. Everything truly does happen for a reason.

It’s been a lot of work to get this place emptied and I’ve got a couple of days to go before I can rest!! Thank you to my consignors for your patience with the final bookkeeping tally. I need to get the shop emptied before the end of November and then I can work on your Christmas bonuses!
