Hello everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share the difficult news of my dad, Sam Afrank, passing earlier today. The lumber industry was a huge part of his heart and his life. He truly loved the chance to connect with people, talk shop, and share anything and everything lumber.

As we all move through this hard time following his passing, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I’ll be keeping this page active and look forward to continuing in my dad’s enjoyment of and connection to this community.

6/4 x 12" x 6' white oak planks air dried.

These were cut for a raised bed project two years ago that never happened and have been on sticks since then. There are close to 50 of them, priced at $22.50 each or $20 each if you take all of them. We have more logs so can cut more if needed.

Chris has been busy this winter and our kiln dried lumber stock is overflowing.

We have most local species sawed to 4/4, 8/4, and some 6/4 both live edge and square edge and some unique shaped pieces. Lot's of character in most of it to let your imagination run wild.

We have a good stock of nice black walnut and new to our inventory, red oak. Also, finally got some more kentucky coffeetree.

We will be offering planing in the future, still working on logistics and cost.

All of our lumber is produced from logs salvaged from the burnpile.

Our prices: Walnut@$5/bf, Oak@$4/bf, Pine, Spruce, Cottonwood@$1.50/bf, Red Cedar and all other hardwoods@$2.50/bf

Winter is here, time to work on those woodworking projects.
We've got about 30,000 board feet of local lumber from salvaged trees sawed and kiln dried cut to 4/4 (1") and 8/4 (2") some dimension and some live edge.
We finally have black walnut along with red oak, white oak, catalpa ,elm, ash, silver maple, kentucky coffeetree, hackberry, and more.
Also red cedar, spruce, pine, and cottonwood.
We haven't changed our prices in seven years!
Black walnut @$5/bf, red and white oak @ $4/bf, all other hardwoods and red cedar @$2.50/bf, pine spruce and cottonwood @$1.50/bf.

Another project fashioned using lumber sawed and kiln dried by Afrank Acres. This is Ponderosa pine obtained from Loup Power from a line clearing project. We have ~20,000 bf of local woods on hand with more coming along. We can accommodate school programs that offer woodworking classes.
