The clients had a prized Steinway grand, so we planned the great room around it.
That meant choosing furnishings at the right scale and arranging the seating so the room still felt comfortable for conversation and gathering.
At our Cedar Rapids interior design studio, we look closely at the pieces clients already own and love. They often tell us a lot about how a room needs to function.
In this case, the piano helped shape the entire space and gave the room a sense of personality from the start.
