It doesn't matter how long I’ve been doing this, I still get that giddy happy feeling inside when someone tells me how happy they are with the way their furniture piece turned out.
Thank you, Meg for your kind words. I am truly honored, and I too love how it came out. The fabric is absolutely beautiful, with its vibrant colors and beautiful floral print. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to create not just a furniture piece, but a conversation piece🙏🥰

I love this!! Such truth in these words!

I love this!! Such truth in these words!

“For that, I could buy new.”

And you’re right — you absolutely could.
But when that phrase is said, it often unintentionally compares handcrafted work to mass-produced furniture, and those two things aren’t built on the same foundation.

What many people don’t see is this:
Upholstery is skilled labor. It’s structural knowledge, material science, precision, patience, and years—sometimes decades—of experience. Every seam, every spring, every layer is done by hand, one piece at a time.

When someone says “for that, I could buy new,” it quietly devalues the artist behind the work. And yes—if we’re being honest—it can crush our souls a bit. Because it reduces craftsmanship to a price comparison instead of recognizing it as a profession.

There will always be cheaper, faster, disposable options.
What we offer is different.

We rebuild pieces to last.
We preserve quality frames instead of sending them to landfills.
We create furniture meant to be lived with for decades—not replaced every few years.

Supporting artisans isn’t about spending more for the sake of it.
It’s about valuing skill, longevity, sustainability, and human hands.

And we’re proud of that. 🤍

This is one of six barstool seats that were originally done in Faux Leather. They got recovered in real leather and finished in classic black bottom fabric instead of cheap cardstock.

If you’ve got a furniture piece that you’ve been thinking about getting recovered, don’t hesitate to reach out. Located in Cedar Bluff area, serving the greater Knoxville area. # Knoxvillefurniture

I love the way they came out. I really liked the fabric that was chosen for these chairs. The slight velvety sheen gives the chairs, a warmer, softer more inviting look to them. Almost like the chairs are calling out “ come and sit, relax, snuggle up with a blanket, a good book and some tea. You know you want to!” 😍📖☕️

If you’ve got furniture piece, you’ve been thinking about redoing, let’s work together to make it happen!
