A Saab sold at the Broad Arrow Auction at Amelia. I’ve been looking at these types of prestige auctions for years and this is the first Saab I can recall. Most of the lots are Ferraris and Porsches and such.
It was the first car lot of the auction - typically reserved for a “curiosity” car to help get the crowd and staff warmed up, and get the kinks out.

Chassis No. 46160 OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE Coming out of the Second World War, Saab AB needed to fill their now dormant aircraft manufacturing facility...

Great turnout for today’s Morrisville Cars and Coffee. I think we counted 11 Saabs. Ranging in age from Mark’s Sonnet (1972?) up to 3 NGs (2 9-5s and 1 9-4X). Nice to see everyone.

A couple of us at the Triangle Rad Neon Spring event today. Parked next to this great old gold Volvo. There were lots of Acura NSXs there as they made this event part of their annual spring meet up.
