5 years. It’s been five years since I built anything for anyone other than myself. I’ve made some promises and I swear I haven’t forgotten nor will I not follow through. This one was a just happen to be chance I took and it’s turning out awesome.

I made a promise over a year ago to someone close to me to create some special for his best friend. I've made excuse after excuse ( none of which are excusable) why it's not done. Mostly because I knew that I'd get in my own feelings. If you know me you know my dog is literally everything to me. Hug your babies tonight because you never when it'll be the last.

Yesterday is gone.
Tomorrow isn't promised.
Today is the real present.

3 years ago I created what I thought was gonna be the last piece I'd ever make again. Shortly after that a dramatic change in my personal life occurred. I went from a 2.5 car garage/shop. Fast forward 2.5 years and I'm in a small 10x12 shed I've converted into as much working space as I could and started making again. While I don't have the space(yet) to create anything huge like 8' flags Ben Doyle . I will be working on some smaller items for the Christmas time frame. I wanna thank those that have stuck around and those yet to come. A blessing in disguise are the ones we aren't looking for. Thank you All.

While everything is still rebuilding stage, Carriage House Custom Woodworks took a big step forward in the goal of getting back to where we were by acquiring a new (used) Table Saw and Miter Saw from RIDGID Power Tools.

I've wrote this 3 times and deleted just as many so bear with me and read on.... About month ago I said I was done, done with CHCW, done with woodworking, just basically done. I've never been one to make a decision and go back on that decision but this time I am. With the help of my wife some good ol fashioned 21st century counseling and some time away were gonna kick this horse and see what direction it runs. So with that being said First up on the block for 2022 is a new home for a 5 foot Iguana named Iggy. Thank you and I hope you understand.
