Calling all mermaids!!! Please join us this Friday at 7pm in the Cubiculo Black Box for our inaugural spring formal, a celebration of everything we’ve created this year! We will be presenting our MP awards, Senior Then-and-Nows, eating, drinking (refreshments will be provided!), and celebrating our incredible MP community.

Formal attire is encouraged! If you are interested in attending, please RSVP using the form in our bio so we can get an idea of numbers.

Come on, come all to this semester’s CABARET, now in the Carlisle Theatre!!! This is the Mermaid Players’ biggest event of the year, and there will be a wide variety of amazing acts, from a capella groups to dance pieces to talented individual performers!

This is a ticketed event — we are working to get our ticket link up and running! However, Cabaret is 100% free and everyone is encouraged to show up Friday night regardless of whether or not they have a ticket.

Last night, the Mermaid Players were visited by the incredible creators of , an upcoming off-Broadway production by Dickinson alumni! Calling all Mermaids!!!! We are thrilled to announce that TOMORROW, April 1, we are holding a play reading of an original off-Broadway production created by Mermaid Players alumni!

If you are interested in reading for any of the roles, please fill out the form in our most recent MP email. There are still plenty of roles available, so please don’t hesitate to sign up. All are welcome, even if you are not interested in reading. There will also be live music! We hope to see you there!!

A summary of the show:
Bone Wars tells the story of the forgotten rivalry between O.C. Marsh and Edward Drinker Cope, the founders of paleontology. These two men hated one another with a lifelong passion, and their feud motivated them to discover thousands of fossils. Were it not for their competition, countless dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures would never have been discovered. The battle between them, known historically as The Bone Wars, gave credibility to the American scientific community and boosted the nations reputation on an international scale. Alas, the line between dedication and obsession is paper thin.

You know what time it is, Mermaids! That’s right — time for another Student Drag Show!!! Come to the Cube THIS FRIDAY at 7pm to watch your fellow students take the stage in one of our most iconic MP events.

We are also looking for performers!!!! If you are interested, please keep an eye out for the link in this week’s MP email and make sure to sign up by Tuesday 3/17 at midnight. All are welcome and no experience is required!!!
