Every project has a story. This one goes like this...

A client approached us seeking a new door. They offered high level requirements and then we went to work on the design. We chose the perfect piece of wood and outlined our cuts which formed the void we filled with resin. Initially our client was not sure about our choices. It is tough sometimes to imagine the finished product based on a rough cut slab with some pencil marks on it, but they agreed to trust us.

While the door was in production our client took their annual trip to Sequoia National Park where they hike and camp among the trees. Returning to their finished door, having not been in contact with us for several weeks, they were shocked by its resemblance to a tree they felt connected to in the forest.

We were not surprised. This is what we do. I could explain it but I have to get back to work. You be the judge.

At Wood River we offer a superior product and service, but ultimately we measure our success based on the quality of our relationships.

A couple weeks ago clients opened their home and hosted a gathering of neighbors and friends to promote Wood River. This was their idea after being inspired by our craft. Truly incredible, and we had a great time.

Blessed to share what we love with our community.
