This coke box is topped with a salvaged bowling lane section. It’s been on my covered shop deck and still looks great. The top is 42 x 41 3/4 almost square and 35” tall. The Singer stools are adjustable height and swivel. Very heavy iron base. There are 4 stools that go with the set. The top can be removed from underneath to get thru a normal doorway. You could bounce a bowling ball off this thing and not hurt it!!

I have a maple bowling lane section that is too heavy for me to build with. Before I cut it in half for other projects I thought I’d offer it for sale as is, in its original salvaged condition, plus the floor sanders work! It’s solid hard rock maple and a little over 2 1/2” thick. It’s 43” wide and one inch shy of 8’ measuring 95” long. It’s a toad. 🐸 but it will make someone an awesome table, kitchen island or work bench. For a quick sale so I don’t have to move it I’d sell it for $495. I’ve already paid to have the commercial coating sanded off so it’s ready to shape sand and finish! It’s a good solid stable section. Let me know if you are feeling froggy! Dang I’m getting old fast!! 🐸

Update! It’s sold to one of our bowling lane family members from 2019!!

Hello everyone! I’m still kicking but I’m almost out of bowling lanes. I have one Pindeck left that would do a 7’ or shorter table and a few slabs for smaller tables or islands. Let me know if you are needing something before they are gone. I bought these last lanes after Billy passed away and never thought I’d be able to go through all of them alone. Slowly but surely yall have referred and recommended me and here we are! Thank you so much for all your support and love over the years.

I love hearing how much our customers have loved their tables and all the memories they made around them over the years. The Sparks family moved into a new home and their family table wouldn’t fit. Louis contacted me about the possibility of repurposing their loved table into living room tables! They were a joy to work with again and I’m so happy I was able to make this happen for them. They picked the tables up this week and will do the finish work themselves. Hope to share pics later!!

A customer asked me how much it cost to make a table....
I answered him: $ 1500
He said: So expensive for this job?
I asked: How much do you think it would cost you?
He answers me: $ 800 maximum... That's a pretty simple job right? !"
- For $ 800 I invite you to do it yourself.
- But.... I don't know how to.
- For $800 I'll teach you how to. So besides saving you $700, you'll get the knowledge for the next time you want
- It seemed right to him and he agreed.
- But to get started: you need tools: A table saw, a planer, a top, dormants, etc...
- But I don't have all these equipment and I can't buy all of these for one job.
- Well then for another $250 more I'll rent my stuff to you so you can do it.
- Okay, he says.
- Okay! Tuesday I'm waiting for you to start doing this work
- But I can't on Tuesday I only have time today.
- I'm sorry, but I'm only available Tuesday to teach you and lend you my stuff. Other days are busy with other customers.
- Okay! That means I'm going to have to sacrifice my Tuesday, give up my tasks.
- I forgot. To do your job yourself, you also have to pay for the nonproductive factors.
- That is? What is this?"
- Bureaucratic, tax, vat, security, insurance, fuel etc.
- Oh no!... But to accomplish these tasks, I'm going to spend more money and waste a lot of time!
- Do you have them? You can do it to me before?"
- Okay!
- I'll make you all the material you need. Truck loading is done Monday evening or Tuesday morning you'll have to come by 6 loading the truck. Don't forget to be on time to avoid traffic jams and be on time
- At 6??? Nope! Too early for me! I used to getting up later...
- You know, I've been thinking. Y ' all better get the job done. I'd rather pay you the $1500. If I had to, it wouldn't be perfect and it would cost me a lot more.

Only by knowing all the elements necessary for the production of a certain work can you estimate the actual cost.
