The base utilizes the Festool Domino corner joint connectors (201349, 201350, 201351) on the long skirt boards and cross braces. I use 8 x 50 tenons to permanently attach the short skirt board to the corner posts. The connector system can be utilized for all the skirt boards. This video focuses on implementing the festool corner connectors. The corner posts are 28-1/2" tall and 2-3/4" wide with a 3/8" taper on the inside edges. The taper starts 4" from the top edge. The skirt boards and cross supports are 1-3/4" wide and 2-1/2" tall.

9’ Parsons Walnut Dining Table - this table features a 1-5/8” thick tabletop with breadboards and chamfered edges. The table is fabricated from 8/4 prime boards. The base features a 2-1/2” tall skirtboard and bookmatched corner posts that are 2-3/4” wide with a 3/8” taper starting 4” from the top of the leg, fully recessed adjustable furniture glides and chamfered edges. The base is assembled with connectors and is secured to the tabletop with z clips from . The cross braces are secured with large head bolts from . All the hardware is secured with 1/4-20 bolts that screw into threaded inserts. This allows the table to be taken apart as many times as needed and the clients will not have to worry about stripping the wood.

This might be my favorite piece!! This unit is massive at 8’ x 8’ x 2’ and heavy. It features inset shaker doors framed with antique bead that is custom made by , glass upper doors to help lighten the feel of the cabinet, fully adjustable shelves, solid hardwood backer, shaker side panels, custom handles fabricated by Roy Oliver and everything is sanded to 320 grit and finished with . The glass is 1/8” thick and secured with glass door retainer clips from . I used to use silicone to secure the glass and this is definitely my preferred method because the clips allow the glass to be easily removed if needed.
