The Tall Timber Barn Story

We bought our property shortly after we got married in 2000. It was just a beautiful forest full of tall trees. We cut in a long driveway and built our house at the top of the hill. After attending a wedding on a family farm in the Shenandoah Valley, we were inspired to build a barn. But, not to house livestock, but to entertain our family and friends!

With Ralph Lauren and the Adirondak’s as our main design focus, we built a traditional barn. Our parties soon became the talk of the town! We knew how to throw a great party!

Our great friends, the Weiler family, made their way to our parties often. Chris Weiler, CEO of Weiler Corporation approached us to host a Weiler dinner for 90. We built a real outhouse for the occasion, and entertained as a professional venue! Guests loved it! Friends started asking to rent the barn for their parties, and Mia developed a website.

Build it, and they will come.
