There you’ll find a mixture of old and new, of people whose ancestors hale from all over the world, and reflections of those roots in the architecture and traditions. It is a place steeped in history an

d culture, where music and food are like air and water. It is charm, grit, darkness and light, beauty, and magic. Life centers on friends and family. Well, it's as varied as the city and the people who call it home.

The Sweet 504 concept was born as I worked on design projects for friends and discovered pieces I couldn't leave behind. I accidentally curated a collection of lovely and interesting things and began to envision authentically, thoughtfully, adorned rooms. Spaces that speak to those who spend time there and bundles of accents to make it easy to compliment any home. A well-balanced space has a story to tell. It makes you want to sit down with a cup of coffee and listen. It's comfortable, sprinkled with elements that hold meaning for you, and meets functional needs. The best spaces are timeless, integrating the history and grounding energy of antique and vintage elements with the crisp, fresh start of new pieces. We would love to help you bring this mix and energy to your favorite space.

These lovely clients envisioned a comfortable, open, classic space, with a subtle nod to the beach. All boxes checked!

What we did: Kept the beautifully made cabinet bases from a long ago kitchen reno, added new custom doors, cabinets and hutches...and everything else. The dining room moved to what was the family room, where we opened up the ceiling to expose the beams, and exposed the brick on one wall. The commissioned painting in the dining room is a favorite coastal spot of the client, captured perfectly (once again) by Art by Sarah Fogg. A dual-purpose space took the place of the original dining room, now a two-person home office by day, and a cozy fireside spot by night, or any time. Photography by the talented .

PT 2 - Classic White Kitchen - buttery smooth, wood slab countertops, beautiful China collection, and a few bunnies, make this the perfect place to start the day. Adjacent to the main kitchen, the Morning Room offers a retreat, with more subdued lighting and warm finishes. The clients hand selected the countertop slabs, sourced through Weaver Builders. A special space for conversation, coffee and quiet moments.

Good morning! It's a bit dreary here in but it's all in this ! Hope you enjoy this in progress for two lovely clients. The will go to the ceiling when complete, but I adore it already! The 2"x20" dimension takes the to . Warning: Installation not for the faint of heart. Looking forward to final photos when we can emerge from 😕 In the meantime, missing my clients and working hard at this gig. I think I have it all figured out too! Nah, just kiddin' 😂 Hope you are fairing well during this time and maybe finding some humor too 🤗 ❤ !
