I really did not need another large piece... but then this primitive pine dry sink happened.

Honestly, it was the color that got me first. Add in hand-cut dovetails, pegged joinery, old worm holes, and all the character that comes with nearly two centuries of use, and I couldn't leave it behind.

Some pieces just know how to follow you home.

And now that it’s here, it’s going to be so hard to let go.

I love the vintage charm and quality that those lamps bring to a space.

The large brass lamp with pleated shade is Stiffl and features a timeless design.

The little white lamp with pretty metalwork looks like cottage perfection with the hand cut and painted paper shade.

And the urn style lamp has crazing perfection and a wooden base, adding architectural interest.

I love how rugs completely transform a space-they set the tone from which everything else builds. What I don’t love is how expensive they are-for natural materials, that is. And in a house with kids and pets, buying new sets you up for heartbreak. Enter vintage, pre-loved rugs. They are wool, handcrafted, durable, and don’t break the bank! This one I simply couldnt pass up with the blues and creams in a pattern that reminds me of Dutch Delftware. I’m always looking for this pattern on my porcelain, so introducing it on a rug felt natural. This 100 percent hand hooked wool rug is now for sale.

A lovely and petite rustic primitive hutch who is now ready for sale. I kept the original colors and gave her a deep clean, new drawer bottoms, stable backing, and hardware to better match her character.
The pale worn colors are distressed in all the right places and the wood backdrop fits her character perfectly.

With 95 listings currently on Marketplace, I’m taking some time to give my pieces the time they deserve-styled in a way that communicates my vision. These English Transferware plates went from “stock photo,” to styled with an antique oil painting, stems, linen, brass, and candlelight. The pastoral scene in cobalt blue is both romantic and soft while still communicating confidence. Beautiful for every day use or for a special occasion. 🤍

A few new timeworn pieces added today, photographed in the bedroom where they feel inherited rather than styled.

Old brass lamps with scalloped shades, chippy floral tins, delicate paper art, and a petite inlaid table that feels straight out of a European bedroom corner.

I love when pieces carry a little softness and age with them. Nothing too perfect here, just charm, texture, and character ✨

One of my favorite things about old furniture is that the wear tells the story.

This primitive pantry cabinet still carries layers of its original faded green paint, worn down over decades of use in all the right places.

I cleaned and carefully sealed the finish so the beautiful chippy surface remains stable while preserving all of its character.

When I style pieces like this, I try not to overdo them. A few baskets, folded linens, ironstone, and branches (I literally cannot resist adding florals), enough to suggest a life around the piece without taking away from what makes it special.

More old pieces, European-inspired interiors, architectural salvage, and collected home inspiration to come. 🤍
