This is a tough post to write. My dad aka “Tucker” passed away last Friday morning.

CAHALL, THOMAS H.
CAMDEN-Thomas H. Cahall, Jr. of Camden, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2022, in his home. He was 74. Tom was born in Dover but raised in Goldsboro, MD by the late Thomas and Virginia Cahall.

Tom was a true salesman who sold everything from cars to port-a-potties. It has even been said that he once tried to sell the shoes off of his feet. Throughout his years as a sales and businessman, he ran an employment agency (Snelling and Snelling) for 16 years. In addition to sales, Tom ran a tax business (Target Business Services) with his wife Margaret for 48 years. He enjoyed running his woodwork and furniture refinishing business in his retirement years with his son Brooks.

Tom’s biggest moments of joy came when he was with his family. Whether it was being an avid supporter and announcer of the Caesar Rodney Band and sports, celebrating holidays, watching his Orioles and Hokies, or simply having a meal together, Tom was happiest when his family surrounded him.

Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret and their two children: Heather Childers (Mike) and Brooks Cahall (Debbie) and his three grandchildren; Hunter Absher (Amy), Gannon Childers(Kierstin), and Taylor Childers. In addition to his grandchildren, he had two great-granddaughters; Hazel Childers and Adelyn Jo Absher. He is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Miller (Wayne), one nephew and five nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on August 8, 2022 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave, Wyoming; where family and friends may visit from 11 am-1pm. Burial will follow at Barratt’s Chapel, 6362 Bay Rd, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Caesar Rodney Band Parents’ Association, c/o Catie Prezler, 239 Old North Road, Camden, DE 19934. We DO TRUNKS pictured is the before and after of a 1947 cedar chest. The chest was my clients mother's gifted to her in 1947. It is cedar lined, mid century modern flair. TUCKER'S WOOD AND LIGHT. Update! We have decided not to participate in craft shows at various venues. We have changed our focus. This decision was difficult but necessary due to show cancelations, and family health issues. Our new focus is our cutting boards particularly our Delaware collection, and furniture refinishing and restoration. BROOKS is still very active his technical expertise is priceless. BROOKS will do a projects from time to time stay tuned. NOW FOR THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT SEPTEMBER 11, 2021 WE ARE HAVING A SALE OF RECONDITIONED FURNITURE, AND MANY CRAFT ITEMS. OTHER CRAFTERS WILL BE HERE INCLUDING ARTIST BARRY ELI. DELAWARE HONEY FROM DEALWARE BAY BEES AND MUCH MORE. All of this is continent on the status of covid 19. As we get closer there will be more uodates.
