Marcellino Van Hoof, his father Harry and his brother Salvatore are three European antique pickers who have been scouting the countrysides of France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands for close to 60 years finding unique clocks, living, dining and bedroom suites, hutches, cabinets, tables, chairs, statues, pottery and more, suitable for any home or business. For the past 30 years, Marcellino
has operated a wholesale antique business in the Netherlands and has sold countless containers to many antique dealers from all over the world. In 2013, Marcellino and his wife Kate decided to expand the retail side of their business by setting up shop as Europa Antiques LLC in the Exit 76 Antique Mall located on I65 near Edinburgh, Indiana. They have now expanded their presence by acquiring booth space in a new upscale antique called The Antique Lodge, located in cambridge City, Indiana. Kate and Marcellino still live in the Netherlands and import containers about three times per year to our US location. Marcellino personally picks, packs and ships these European treasures, effectively "cutting out the middleman" to ensure our prices stay competitive and can fit into any budget. We accompany the container, so we are there to unload, set up and deal personally with our customers. We have met so many wonderful people in the US and we consider our customers family!
