This spring I was asked to start working up an idea for a camera bag for a woman to gift her future fiancé. I spent a few months chipping away at the design and assembly of it, and within just days of the engagement I had finally finished it. It was a super fun project and it’s always a little nerve wracking having to assemble something so large, hoping everything actually fits together the way it should 😅

Recently a statue was erected here in honor of labor activist and local legend Annie Klobuchar who was an American labor activist born in Calumet, Michigan. She founded and served as president of the local Women’s Auxiliary No. 15 of the Western Federation of Miners, was an active participant in the Copper Country Strike of 1913–1914, and is an inducted member of the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame. If you like having rights as a worker, thank people like Annie for fighting for them
