I was just asked how can I cut a tree down. Obviously they were tree lovers, and I don't mean that in a bad way. So I told them because we have to. We are on this planet because something died for us to live. Think about it. So when I cut a tree down and saw that Lumber up into boards, I want to ensure that I make something beautiful that will honor that tree that I cut down.
Keeping the spirit of that tree alive. And handing down furniture to Generations is the best way to ensure that tree stays alive.

100 Degrees in shop. I am done, done, WELL done. However, I got to circa 1940's writing desk finished. Final sanding and finish coat. I have a Bankers Lamp (green shade) that goes between letter holders.

Finished, signed, sealed and delivered. Pay no attention to the security system hanging on wall.

I was told by someone that what you do nice for people is not for your own satisfaction and self gratification, but for those you do nice things for. For an instance at least, they have the belief that faith in humanity is not lost.
That person was my wife. So much learned and so much missed. Miss you my love.
