A forever home the Cedar Vanity. There’s a guy in Wisconsin Rapids that does Concrete tops. I’m hoping he’ll make my Craftmanship look even better. If anyone someone else in the area of Adams please let me know.

It’s been awhile. Home improvement projects getting in the way. Built a bathroom vanity with leftover Walnut plywood from the entertainment center. Bought an outrageously priced chunk of Cedar for cabinet face and doors. But the grain was so pretty I just had to have it.

This is a Stereo Cabinet for Roman of Anchondo flooring. He did my floors, I built him a home for his Audio system. The waterfall effect of the Walnut Plywood was the largest challenge. Aligning the grain and making a perfect 45 degree miter was daunting. This plywood is $240 a sheet and the beautiful grain on this one sheet HAD to be the featured board. I only had one shot to make it happen, otherwise the grains wouldn’t match up. I practiced on scrap plywood I think 6 times and then took the plunge. This gorgeous feature is only slightly more beautiful than the Wenge’ face frame. Wenge is a South American hardwood that has amazing grain and a deep chocolate color that highlights the dark grains of the Walnut. The cabinet has been sent to get sprayed with a clearcoat and maybe add doors to the bottom. It’s out of my shop. I only claim credit for my work, but I will post the final cabinet when completed.
