Finished up a large natural cherry kitchen last week. Lots of features packed into 17 cabinets plus the island. Still waiting for the backsplash installation, but my part is done.

Just finished up a huge in-home library project today. Over 40' of shelving for an avid book collector. Also wall panels over the arch and around the window.

This is it! My (probably) last craft show this weekend at the Boone County fairgrounds - Fall Diddley. I'm hanging up the craft show shingle after thirty years. Last chance for calendar frames. (I'm still building cabinets and furniture tho. Come see us in Tent 3, Booth 34, right inside the door!

I was asked to recreate these oak doors to replace water damaged originals in the Madison area. Both are 1 3/4" thick with applied moldings and original hardware reinstalled. And boy are they heavy...

Here is a kitchenette and Murphy door I built in a home in Loves Park. Cabinets are painted and include a pullout wastebin, wine rack and microwave shelf. The drawer front in front of the sink also tips out revealing a small bin for sponges, etc. I had to work around mechanicals in the basement so some of the cabinets aren't full depth. The Murphy door hides an access hole to the crawl space storage. Painting by Drake Gross at Elegant Refinishings.

Another office project (third this year) made of red oak includes a printer stand, pullout slides and keyboard tray. Corner TV cabinet turned out nice, but was a challenge to handle when moving it in.

Catching up on project photos. Here is the first project completed recently.

I had the opportunity to work with Sean Adams Custom Carpentry on a total remodel of a ranch-style house. The mantel is 12' long and made of rustic alder. The fireplace cabinets are maple. The mudroom hutch is also maple with shiplap back. The bookshelves are also maple and 20' long with metal grid panels on lower doors to allow heat from baseboard units to circulate. Lots of bookshelves=lots of challenges... Finishing by Drake Gross at Elegant Refinishings.
