Serving the community for over two decades. Welcome to Martin Sales and Service Inc., a locally owned and operated business serving the community for over 25 years. Martin Sales and Service Inc. was born when it’s owner, Dave Martin, began repairing sewing machines and vacuums, as well as selling Hearthstone wood stoves out of his basement in 1978. Dave soon found that his clientèle was growing so
large that he needed more room than what his basement could provide. In 1980 he moved his flourishing business to a small 550 square foot building on North Main Street Extension in Butler. The move allowed for more space and greater presence in the community. Martin Sale’s reputation for offering quality merchandise and service with highly competitive prices lead to exponential growth in just a few years. Dave soon realized that he had once again outgrown his space. In 1988, Dave built a 2,400 square foot building to meet his business needs, and this is where Martin Sales and Service Inc. is located today.
