Hammond Antiques is a family-owned business located at 201 West Main Street, Burnsville, N.C., an easy 40-minute drive from Asheville. The store is a 30,000 square foot three-story building full of wonderful unique antiques and oddities including furniture, lamps, statues and figurines, old toys, clocks, mirrors, tools, costume and silver and gold jewelry and dishware. There is also an art gallery

of works by local artists for sale and the famous "Teapot Room" filled with unique teapots of all shapes and sizes from around the world! We also offer upholstery services, lamp repair, and expert furniture restoration/repair.

Friday, will serve as Craft Demonstration Day on the Square . We are looking for craftspeople who are MAKERS.

Blacksmithing
Old fashioned toys
Mollasses/Honey
Cornshuck Dolls
Traditional Foods and Flavors
Square dancing lessons
Basket weaving
Appalachain Instrument Makers

Etc.

You know, all the things that make our mountain culture unique!

If you'd like to show your skills , we would be honored to have you!

We will close the streets on Saturday morning for our annual vendor fair as usual. We are adding a Friday schedule for school groups, day trips and folks that want to make a weekend out of it!
