This is the Building Bold Project—a way to strengthen our community, help our struggling families, and inspire hope for our youth and generations to come. Because if not now… then when? And if not us… then who?
Serving Flagler County for Over 15 Years
For over 15 years, Christmas Come True has been quietly changing lives in Flagler County. What started as a Christmas mission to help families has grown into a powerful, year-round mission. We've been the quiet hands and open hearts behind thousands of acts of love and support—but now, it’s time to build something permanent.
Christmas Come True & ICRS – Keep Building Hope Year-Round
Together with the Innovative Community Resource Solutions initiative—or ICRS—we are bringing a new kind of hope to Flagler County. One that lasts. One that’s creative, accessible, and transformative. This is more than charity—it’s a movement to educate, elevate, and empower.
The Problems & Challenges
Every week, we hear from families in crisis—parents facing eviction, kids without beds, people forced to choose between food and gas. These are not just numbers. These are your neighbors. And the current system isn’t enough. It’s time we do more… together.
What We Do Now:
Right now, we hold fundraisers year-round because we do not apply for government funding. We provide essential furniture such as beds and bedding, rent, utilities, food, car repairs, support to find homes and supply furnishings, and so much more. We run birthday programs, emotional support initiatives, and special needs outreach. But our capacity is limited by space, staff, and resources. We need a home—a hub—to expand and sustain these vital programs.
Our Impact on Flagler County:
Look at what’s already been done—with heart and grit. Over 600 family members fed just last Christmas. Thousands of children over 15 years have opened gifts because of you. We’ve helped fix cars, pay insurance, provide furniture, beds, and so many essential needs. Now imagine what we could do with a permanent facility and full community support.
Life is Like a Bunch of Tangled Necklaces:
Life can feel like a tangled mess—confusing, frustrating, overwhelming. But if you take a moment, lay it out, and patiently untangle each piece… something beautiful emerges. That’s what ICRS will do to help our families—untangle their struggles and let their beauty shine.
Our Vision for the Center – A Place to Grow, Give & Gather:
Picture this: Over 8,000 square feet of space filled with opportunity—a sewing center, a creative workshop with 3-D printers and laser cutters, vertical gardens, refurbished furniture, financial coaching, a home goods store, and so much more. A place where people can learn, teach, work, grow food, and thrive. Not a handout—but a launchpad.
The Vision – Our Bold Plan for ICRS:
This will be a place of renewal. Recycling old things into new treasures. Teaching skills that lead to careers. Hosting farmers markets, food trucks, pop-ups, and microbusinesses. It will be a shared space for creation, connection, and transformation. Every square foot is designed to serve, inspire, and empower.
