Founding Furniture I build custom heirloom quality furniture and repairs I began my pursuit of a career in woodworking at a very young age. I am now a furniture maker by trade.

I was self taught until I went to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology where I earned an Associates Degree in Cabinetmaking and Millwork. While at college, my interest in the 18th Century Furniture grew tremendously. I especially became interested in the Queen Anne and Chippendale styles with cabriole legs, and elaborate carvings. ld have been built 250 years ago. My dovetails are cut by hand. Legs and aprons are mortised and tenoned. My finishes are typically stain, linseed oil, shellac, and paste wax: a traditional rich finish. But the finish is always something you can customize as well. My pieces are designed and built to last generations, not a couple years.

Just finished up this gorgeous curly maple desser.

✨18th Century inspired design with hand cut dovetail drawers and hand rubbed shellac finish. The ogee bracket feet, beaded drawer fronts, and fancy brass swan neck pulls invoke a mid-1700s Chippendale style.

This was a joy to design and build.

I have started a new furniture project this past week. It will be a Chippendale Era dresser. I went over all the desired dimensions with my wife and decided on the final size and desired drawer depths. Next step I did was the mechanical drawing.
Today I started the ogee bracket feet. Her dresser will be done out of curly maple. Stay tuned as we will try to post progress pictures and then the finished product!

to when I built this beautiful Philadelphia Pie Crust Table! The top is a solid board of mohogany that I routed the middle down and hand carved the edge. The bird cage allows the table top to turn and stand on edge. All turning and carving I did by hand.
