Testing my on some red oak plywood. I sanded to 220grit then I applied with a small white non woven pad as thinly as possible. Once there were no dry spots I wiped off all the excess with clean rags. A little goes a long way, and it feels amazing. I’ll apply a second coat tomorrow after this dries

This is 50% boiled linseed oil, 25% local beeswax, and 25% mineral spirits. It has a consistency of nearly melted butter.
