Many of you know, if I’m not in the shop, I’m often found working in my gardens. Today was the garlic scapes harvest! No podcasts or music here, just the sounds of nature for me. One thing I cannot be without is my collection of baskets. Some big, some small, old and new, hand crafted and mass produced… it’s really about the look and functionality for me. These are two of my current favorites! I often trade baskets out as I find better options when I’m out and about, sourcing for the shop. If you need some harvest baskets, egg baskets, foraging baskets, flower baskets, etc, we have a growing selection on our lower level, as well as some gems on the first floor too! Come check them out and say hi!

Hello! Happy unofficial summer! As furniture purchases pick up, we are having a hard time juggling furniture on the floor and in the back. We know the weather hasn’t cooperated much, but holding your purchased pieces is seriously hampering our ability to bring in new goodies! Starting June 1st, we will charge $10/day after the first 48 hours. If you need deliveries, we have contacts who can help if we can’t do it ourselves. We appreciate your speedy pick-ups and look forward to seeing you all in the weeks to come! 💃🏻

Hello!!! I (Cindy) will be out of the shop all week… it’s time for a spring buying trip! I’ll be sure to post many pictures and videos of all the goodies I collect between Florida and Maine over the next week so keep watching! Also, feel free to DM me any requests while I’m out scouting. I’m thinking small furniture, linens, art, etc… unless I end up with a U-Haul trailer and then you can request all the larger pieces you want! In the meantime, please help make room for new treasures. The shop will be open every day as usual, 10-5 Monday thru Saturday, 11-4 Sundays.

Happy ! I cannot thank the women in my life enough for everything they do to encourage me through my first year owning this business! Right from the start, all my banking needs were taken care of by women, attorneys…women. The two ladies who believed in me enough to approach me regarding the purchase of this business are two of my favorite women. Let’s not forget my mom and sister, for all the sourcing help, moving, lugging, lifting, lamp rewiring, furniture construction assists, and general encouragement every time I start to doubt my ability to learn this new business. Their support made this all possible. I couldn’t be open seven days a week if it weren’t for all the ladies helping me here at the shop throughout the week. It truly does take a village and I’m so grateful for mine.

ATTENTION MIDCOAST MAINE PEEPS!!! Our honey is now sold at Ames True Value in Wiscasset! Located right on an end-cap straight across from the checkout lanes. I’m very excited to be partnering with one of my very favorite stores of all time. I stop in for all my farm and garden supplies every time I drive through to check my 8 hives in Newcastle. While I certainly hope to see you at Magpie, in Brunswick, this is your second best option for that local honey fix 🐝🍯.

Things are looking a little “springy” around here! Lots of new items coming out for the spring season, which is almost here… yay!!!! One of my favorite times of year to decorate for. Come say hi and check it all out! As always, we are open 7 days a week, 10-5 Monday through Saturday, 11-4 Sundays.

Happy Friday!!! I am open 10-5 today, and I truly hope to see you! Just a friendly reminder that first-year businesses like mine rely on folks like you to survive, especially during the leanest time of the year… a year already affected by a less than stellar summer season, here in Brunswick. I try very hard to be open 7 days a week year-round, so my local peeps can come visit any time. I think it’s important to keep our local economy thriving all year long. With that said: we are open 10-5 daily, with the exception of Sunday, which is 11-4. Pop in and say hi!
