It's starting to get official around here! Just waiting to put the countertop together and add some shelving to each side of the sign. I can't wait! I've been wanting a nice crafting space for quite a while! And yes it's still partly a playroom. Our daughter is still 9 so we have barbies galore. 🤣🤣

Meet the Owner/Artist

Meet the owner/creator/artist behind Heirloom Refinery, Melanie Lackey. For years I have put so much passion into decorating a space to make it my own. From overhauling kitchen cabinets to dining tables and chairs. I have literally done it all! I guess you could say I have always had an "eye" for design. I particularly LOVE to take something old and worn and bring it back to life. To me, the before and after pictures are golden! This is what brings me joy in my spare time and I certainly could not do it without the people in my circle. I am a mother, wife, daughter and most importantly a child of God. Originally born and raised in Dalton, GA, but 4 years ago our family relocated to the beautiful Golden Isles. We absolutely love it here on the good ole' southern coast. Sunshine and palm trees on the daily. It doesn't get much better than that! Thank you for taking the time to read a little tid bit about me and my passion and commitment to my craft, family and God! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and would love to hear what inspires you!
