📣 HEY BESTIES! WE’RE HIRING! 💜

OCD Home Solutions™ is growing faster than fast, and we are SO grateful! Now we need a few amazing people to help us keep up. 🙌

We’re looking for someone who leads with compassion but has a little muscle, too! 💪😂 Someone who cares about people, works hard, and is ready to jump in alongside our team.

We help clients organize their homes, pack for moves, and get settled into their next chapter. It’s hands-on work, and a caring heart matters just as much as a strong work ethic.

Here’s what you need to know:

💜 2–3 days a week, with strong potential for more.
💜 $18 an hour to start.
💜 Travel is a big part of our day. Travel time is paid!
💜 We regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, so you need to be comfortable with physical work.

Sound like your kind of team? Call 216-299-3181 and ask for Taylor. She’ll get you set up with the next steps!

We cannot wait to meet you! 💜

Hey Besties! Before you settle into your evening scroll while pretending you don’t see the laundry on the other end of the couch… 😂

We need to talk.

I want to start a MONTHLY LIVE Q&A. You bring the questions. I’ll bring the coffee and apparently the confidence to go on the internet without an edit button. Lord help us. 🤣

We can talk about the closet you’re scared to open.

The stuff you keep because it was expensive—even though you’ve hated it since 2018.

The “donation bags” that have been riding around in your trunk so long they’ve attended family functions.

And the harder stuff, too. Feeling overwhelmed. Guilt about letting go. Knowing you need to start somewhere but being so mentally tired you just shut the door.

That’s the conversation I want to have. Real questions. Real homes. A little laughing at ourselves while we figure it out.

You do NOT need to clean your house before watching. Please. That would defeat the whole purpose. 😂

👇 What would you ask me? And would you rather hang out in the evening or over weekend morning coffee?

🎃 She did the mash… she did the SHUFFLE MASH. 😂

The pile on the counter moves to the stairs.
The pile on the stairs moves to the bedroom.
The pile in the bedroom moves to the chair.

Nobody knows what’s in the pile anymore, but honey, it’s getting its steps in. 😂

Meanwhile, you’ve been “organizing” for three hours and somehow every room is halfway done.

I hear it SO often. “I’m constantly picking up, but I never feel like anything is done.”

You start in the kitchen, find something that belongs in the bedroom, walk it upstairs, notice laundry, open a drawer…

Now you’re sorting socks and your kitchen looks like you were abducted halfway through making dinner.

We need a plan and a few rules for ourselves, Besties. 😂

Pick ONE room or area. That’s your mission.

Keep an empty basket beside you. Anything that belongs somewhere else goes in that basket.

You stay put. We know what happens when you leave. 😂

Finish your area FIRST.

THEN take your basket around and put those things in their homes.

You are on a delivery route. You are not starting six new projects along the way. No stopping to rearrange a closet. No “while I’m in here.”

And if something doesn’t have a home? That’s something we need to solve. Otherwise, we’re just picking its next pile.

We’re finishing something today, Besties.

That pile has haunted enough rooms. 👻😂

Who else is doing the Shuffle Mash? Be honest… how long has that pile been on your chair? 👀

This client had all the bins and all the baskets. She just needed a little help getting it to the finish line!

So she called her Besties at OCD, and we came over and brought that pantry to life. 😍

Fun fact: pantries are literally one of my FAVORITE places to organize. I get all excited and giddy when I get my hands on a good pantry. 😂

P.S. I may or may not also enjoy your lovely snacky snacks. 👀😂

Happy Monday, Besties! 🎃

Saturday we got to spend some time together with no boxes to pack and no closets to organize… just food, pumpkins, a fire, and each other. ❤️

Not everyone could make it because, well… life. We missed those who couldn’t come, but we had so much fun with the crew who did!

We had a lil potluck, managed to find some wood 🤫😂, bedazzled our pumpkins, and actually had time to sit around and enjoy each other.

We spend so many days working together, but I love getting to know the people behind the black work shirts, too.

I’m grateful for moments like this. For the laughter, the conversations, and the people around me who help make this whole thing possible.

Starting this Monday with a full heart… and pumpkins that are a little extra, just like us. 😂✨🎃

My office isn’t completely finished yet, but I couldn’t wait to show it. 😂

The whiteboard still needs hung and the stained-glass window is going behind my desk, but I already love it.

Most of the pieces have been collected along the way, including several donated by clients—which makes me love the room even more. The gold table came from the Salvation Army. None of it was bought as a matching set, but somehow it all works.

We are two months shy of being in this building for a year.

When we moved in, it was literally an empty warehouse. Now we have offices, a waiting area, workspaces and a real home for OCD Home Solutions™.

Meet the women behind OCD Home Solutions™.

We may be 11 different women with 11 different personalities, but when we walk into your home, we work as ONE.

Every single woman on my team is personally trained by me. They learn how I see a room, how I build a plan, how I care for our clients, the pace I expect and what it means to finish what we started.

Basically, when you hire my team, you’re getting Ericka 2.0. Eleven versions of me might sound slightly terrifying, but I promise it’s a good thing. 😂

We laugh. We play music. We have fun. We want you to feel comfortable with us in your home because getting organized or moving is already stressful enough.

But underneath all that fun is a team that knows how to work. We stay focused, we work together and we keep moving until we get you across your finish line.

You’re never just hiring a few women to move things around.

You’re hiring a trained team with one plan, one standard and one goal: to help you get your home—and your life—back under control.

Ready to get started?

Ladies… I have something very important to tell you.

Even Robin Swoboda has a basement. 😂😂

You know what I mean. THE basement.

Because life gets busy. Work. Family. Activities. Schedules. Commitments. A million things that actually need your attention…and somehow “organize the basement” keeps getting moved to next Saturday for approximately 147 Saturdays. 😂

So Robin called us.

We rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

And THIS is my favorite part of the entire story…

Robin was very open about the fact that somewhere in the middle of this process, she absolutely HATED IT. 😂

Not the basement.

Not the stuff.

Possibly us. 😂😂😂

We went to lunch and I’m pretty sure she was considering changing the locks before we got back.

Because here’s the part nobody shows you about organizing:

The middle SUCKS.

Everything is out.
You’re making 900 decisions.
We keep asking, “Keep or donate?”
And at some point you start wondering why the hell you invited these women into your house. 😂

I always tell clients:

In the beginning, you love us.

In the middle, you’re questioning every decision that brought us into your life.

And by the end…

You love us again. 😂

And Robin DID.

By the time we finished, she was in love with her basement.

That’s organization.

It isn’t always pretty little bins and perfectly folded towels. Sometimes it’s messy before it gets better. Sometimes you get overwhelmed. Sometimes you want your organizers to go to lunch and never return. 😂

And THAT is why I wanted to share Robin’s basement.

Because she’s someone so many of us know, love and admire—and guess what?

Her life gets messy too.

Not because she’s a messy person.

Because she’s a HUMAN with a full life.

And apparently even Robin Swoboda has a basement that occasionally needs rescued from itself. 😂❤️

Thank you, Robin, for trusting us with it—and more importantly, for letting us show the REAL process.

Because I have a feeling a whole lot of women are looking at these pictures right now thinking…

“Oh thank God. Me too.” 😂

And if you’re looking at YOUR basement right now thinking, “Yep. Me too.” — give us a call. 😂 We’ll roll up our sleeves and tackle yours next.

We haven’t done a fun challenge in a long time, Besties.

Probably because life itself has been challenging. 😂😂😂

My goodness, I’m hilarious.

So let’s do something fun and easy-peasy:

THE THURSDAY–SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Every day, walk into one room, choose ONE item you no longer need and donate it.

The next day, pick a different room and do the same thing.

That’s it. No tearing apart the entire closet and questioning every decision you’ve made since 2006. 😂

One item. Four rooms. Four days.

By Sunday, that’s four fewer things you have to clean, organize or move around.

And no…your husband does not count as an item. 😂

Who’s in? 🙋‍♀️

( Yes the image is AI I can’t draw and it hilarious 😂)
