Happy Thanksgiving!
Another Thanksgiving is upon us, and with it comes our much-loved Black Friday Sale this Friday and Saturday only! We are excited to bring this to you again for 2025. We are so grateful to all our loyal customers and delighted to welcome new friends each year. We like to say that “A Beautiful Home Starts with Sweet Dreams” and looking back over the years it is a joy to know that we have helped make many of your dreams come true. It is a privilege to earn your trust and to know you put your faith in us and our furniture. Thank you.
While reflecting on this season of gratitude, I want to share a personal note. Many of you know that we lost our “Grammie” this past August. I often wish I had expressed more appreciation to my mother-in-law and the countless hours she devoted to caring for our family, the delicious meals she lovingly prepared, and the ruggedness of her true Mainer spirit. The rollicking laughter, the best blueberry muffins, and the pies that truly tasted like they came from Heaven are particular memories. Judy was with us from the very beginning of Sweet Dreams, 31 years ago. She befriended so many of you and loved meeting you around town, sharing coffee and her signature Judy chatter. I can still see her in the old store making little hand-made price tags, collecting Beanie Babies, and tucking in our baby daughter Chloe on one of the beds. Wonderful memories of a wonderful woman. She was, and always will be, part of what made Sweet Dreams a different kind of furniture store. We are proud of that difference: caring for our customers like family and helping you create homes filled with warmth, love, and a little bit of Judy’s magic.
So, this Thanksgiving, be sure to let your friends and family know just how grateful you are for their love and presence. Neither should ever be taken for granted.
