I love Mid century modern furniture! I wish i could have done the whole piece in natural wood but it had too much damage to go that route. So much work went into this dresser! Sanding, priming, stripping, paint washing, sealing, more paint, more sanding! Lol I added fluting and gorgeous gold hardware to the drawers. Its quite the transformed piece now! It has been painted a custom mix and has beige/taupe color that is very neutral and looks great with dark walls. The nightstand was finished to match as close as possible. My pictures show possible ways to place these in your space. They are solid wood pieces. The dresser even has a bottom drawer made of cedar!
Dresser measures 36"w, 45"h, 18"d.
Nightstand is 28"h, 20"w, 17 1/2" d.

These pieces are so cute and versatile! You can use it in an entry way, dining room, nursery or anywhere in the house you need something not too big but can help with storage. It was kind of plain looking so I added some decorative trim and gold hardware and painted it a darker neutral color which is called Elmwood by Fusion Mineral Paint. It measures 35 1/2" w, 30" h, 17 1/2" d.
Selling for $195.

I seem to have hoarded a few single night stands so I am playing around with my creativity still since they are small pieces that require less time. I love the way this one turned out and I have been searching for a matric so I could have them as a pair! This is a solid wood piece eith dovetailed drawers made by Dixie. Its been painted and sealed with Sherwin Williams in the color Curio Gray. I added fluting to the drawers and new hardware. It measures 24"h, 17 1/2" d, 26" w. Selling for $145.

I absolutely loved this nightstand even tho it pushed my limits on stripping an entire piece! It was a challenge but I just had to see it thru because I wanted to see if I could achieve this look. I wanted to post so everyone can see the new ways I am refinishing some pieces but its not for sale! The nice lady who purchased it actually came to purchase the former 2 toned piece and saw this one and had to have it! Somehow I lost the before picture but I hope to find more nice quality pieces like this. It was made by Dixie furniture.

This beautiful nightstand or end table is ready to go to a new home! I am still working on recreating pieces with some natural wood features to them and I love this combination with Sherwin Williams paint in the color Armory. I cleaned up the old hardware and reused it. I am showing it in my garage but also used Chat GPT to create a look so you can invision it in your space! It measures 26" wide, 24" high, 16" deep.

I just had to show these cute little family heirlooms that I got to recreate for my neighbor and grandma to be! The expecting Mommy picked out the color which is so cheery and looks adorable with the pink cushion and bunny that Grandma picked out!
I don't paint small furniture too often but I have also commissioned painting things like mirrors, doors, shelves and picture frames. I am still working on furniture projects so stay tuned!

This mid century dresser was certainly a labor of love to transform! I remember my grandmother having the same blonde bedroom furniture! It was completely sanded and then painted with Benjamin Moore advance paint in the color Toucan Black. I added fluting to the drawers, cut the flat base to attach a raised one and stained it. All holes were filled in and redrilled to attach new gold hardware. Whew!
The measurements are 55"wide, 32" high, 18" deep.
This would also serve as a buffet! Selling for $400.
