In 1987, Ron Lyrek built Interscapes from the ground up, crafting custom cabinets for both homes and commercial spaces with one part-time employee and a relentless work ethic.

This Earth Day, we’re proud to highlight the steps we take every day to reduce waste and operate more responsibly.

Our wood, paper, and cardboard waste is shredded and repurposed for animal bedding, then composted and used by local nurseries, helping give new life to materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Through these efforts, we’ve reduced our landfill waste from 130 cubic yards per month to just 1.78 cubic yards.

We also prioritize:
• Recycling all office paper, plastics, glass, metal, and aluminum
• Reusing pallets or converting them for energy production
• Donating usable wood, plastic laminate, and materials to local schools
• Recycling as much of our production waste as possible

We believe that building incredible spaces also means being responsible stewards of the materials we use.🌎
