I take well-loved, sad, old pieces of furniture and "reimagine" them with paints, stains, glazes, waxes and more so they can live a new life.

I'm Nadeen with Magpie & Rose Reimagined Furniture. A few years ago a dear friend introduced me to a world that I thought was out of my reach. I had seen “chalk painting” classes at a local shop but was too intimidated to give it a try. My friend had mastered it and offered to give me a lesson. After an hour I was hooked and have been passionately pursuing it ever since. I painted tables, chairs,

dressers, frames, shoes, anything I could get my hands on! In 2018, I decided to turn my hobby into a business, naming it after my two greatest treasures in life - my daughters. I have always loved colors - lots of colors - ALL the colors - since I was a child. Chalk paint gives me an outlet for my God-given creativity. Old, worn-out furniture is my canvas. I love learning new techniques and painting with new products. There are infinite possibilities and I don't have to stick to just one style. I hope to inspire you to pick up a brush and try some "paint therapy" for yourself! I got to go to Brimfield Antique Shows today! I've been watching Flea Market Flip with Lara Spencer for years and always dreamed of experiencing it myself one day. We just happened to be stopping in Massachusetts the very week that Brimfield has their Spring show and my dear friend Sarah from Coat of Charms was willing to be our tour guide today! We saw so many unique, weird and beautiful things but my fave thing was posing with my teenage crush: Michael J Fox. 🥰😂 Have you been to Brimfield?

Hey 👋 y'all! I'm working on perfecting my southern accent here in Charleston! And look at all the architectural beauty this city has to feast my eyes upon! 👀 I LOVE this city! Have you been here? We've been full-time RVers for 5 months and it's been a crazy-fun-exhausting-hilarious-life-changing adventure. I'm finally in a mental space to start posting again. 🤩 I can't wait to share all the beauty I find in each place we stop. If you're following, let me know! 🥰

2 months ago we had this crazy idea to sell our house, buy an RV and travel the country for a year. Today, with the help of many dear friends, we said goodbye to our home and hello to adventure!

Sooooooooooo....I've been MIA for a few weeks because our family has made a BIG DECISION!!! We are selling our house and setting out to explore the country for the next 12 months in an RV! We are so excited for this adventure and can't wait to hit the road. 😃 How will I get my paint fix while we're traveling, you ask? I'm packing enough supplies and hoping to find smaller items to reimagine along the way. I'll be visiting paint shops and hopefully meeting some of you on my journey! We should be heading out of Denver at the end of September...our first destination is the gulf in Texas! I need some beach time. 🏝🏖 Give me a shout out if you've spent a good amount of time in an RV. 😄

I truly loved working on this custom set for my tween client with great taste! She asked for a sophisticated, vintage room so I searched the ads until we found this stunning pair.

Eye Love Hue Paint in Tuxedo was the perfect black to breathe new life into these pieces! The drawer fronts were sanded back to raw wood and stained with a more modern medium brown. I found French pulls to match her style and salved the inside of the drawers. Now these two are ready for their new life with a tween "old soul" that loves them. 🥰
