Someone gave me the half log a few years ago. Thought for a while to figure out what to make. Decided on a small bench. Then I had to figure out how to attach the legs. Needs a bit of polyurethane yet.

A number of people at the farmers market today talked about how they were going away from plastics in the kitchen; using stainless steel, glass, wood, and cast iron instead. A lot of those people were already well-educated on how to care for wooden kitchen items. That is a good thing, as far as I am concerned. I sell wooden kitchen things, and I want them to last. Bye bye Tupperware etc. etc.
Plus, people were buying wedding and shower gifts. And lots of people were asking if I would be at the market every week.

My summer vending schedule is as follows:
Bridgton Farmer's Market, Depot St, Bridgton, Saturday 8am to noon, rain or shine every week until the end of October.
Waterford Farmer's Market, Waterford Common (near the library) Mondays 2-5 pm June thru August
July 4 Waterford Independence Day Market on the Waterford Common starting about 8:00 am
Waterford World's Fair, July 18, 19, 20 at Waterford Fair Grounds in North Waterford.

A few pics of the pulpit and baptism font. The communion table is still in the shop, needing a wee bit of sanding before finishing.

Figured out the cover for the baptism font. I did a mock-up out of pine first in order to get the angles correct. Still needs to be glued together and sanded and a handle put on it.
