Many have asked, and we have been working extremely hard to make our 20th reunion happen! We have all become accustomed to “rolling with the punches,” and this is a similar circumstance. We heard from many of you with concerns about travel, Covid etc. We want our reunion to be an amazing night for all that want to attend. We also have been unable to reach many classmates as they are no longer on Facebook, or those on aren’t seeing the information due to filtering issues.

With that being said, we have made the hard decision to regroup and plan a free event for this year that is ticketless by getting reserved space at Tony’s Eat & Drink. We want to form a bigger committee and plan an over the top 25th reunion.

That gives us time to do this the way it should be done!

We need your help! We need a group to track classmates down. If we get 10 of you, you each help us find 15-20 classmates. That is our biggest need!

We don’t want to wait until 2026 to see you though. Come to Tony’s Eat & Drink on Friday, April 1 @ 8pm!

It's coming.... Reunion take 2!! We will be pumping all the details soon, but until then we need your HELP! To be sure we reach as many classmates as possible, we will be making a list of email addresses to send details via email, as well as, Facebook. Here is where you come in...

*REUNION UPDATE*

Class of 2001, there has been great interest for the September 18th event. Enough that we can commit to the venue which is great and encouraging. However, there is a significant number of classmates who are wanting to wait and see as the world is not the same as it was even 3 weeks ago. Earlier this year the world felt as if it was heading toward stability while now it feels the opposite. We have discussed different scenarios with the venue and have decided to postpone the Old Smokey Brewery and Distillery to the spring as we cannot to commit for fall if there is a chance of reduced capacity and other restrictions. We want to have a safe event but it also be as enjoyable as possible as we do this once every 10 years.

1) ALREADY PURCHASED A TICKET? If you are planning to attend in the spring, your ticket will be transferred to the new date and you will avoid paying eventbrite fees twice! If you are unable to attend in the spring, and would like a refund, email: [email protected].

2) GET THE WORD OUT! We want to find a better way of reaching more of our classmates. We are going to circulate a link to a google sheet where we can crowdsource contact info so we aren’t relying just on Facebook. This is going to be a group effort to be able to reach as many people as possible.

3) SEPT 17th TAILGATE! We are still going to have a tailgate at the Ravenwood game Sept 17, 2021 and will find a bar/restaurant to gather at afterwards but not a private event, just a after game place to gather for drinks without kids. BHS admin and Coach Blair will section off the end zone for those that would like to attend the game. If you can volunteer to setup a signup genius for the tailgate, please comment below to help. We will need tents and tables as well.

Thank you for spreading the word and we look forward to seeing many of you on Sept 17th for the tailgate and then again in the spring for our official 20 year reunion on April 2, 2022!

Class of 2001 friends...

A completely transparent & honest post...

As we all know with the past year and a half, plans are fluid. With that being said, we have deadlines with our venue that are quickly approaching. In order to plan accordingly, we need as close to an accurate number of attendees as possible within the next week...

We kindly ask that if you do plan on attending, that you purchase your tickets by August 10th. We will have to make a decision that week if events details will need to change.

We are really pumped for everyone to get together to celebrate our 20th reunion, and hope you will help us get there!!
