Rikki Bushnell, originally from Deerfield, Illinois, moved to Bozeman 47 years ago. Rikki spent her childhood summers with her Mother’s family in Butte, Montana and fell in love with the Big Sky Country. (Rikki’s Grandparents owned the Bee Hive Candy Store & Café during the mining boom years in Butte)
Rikki married Kurt Bushnell in 1987 (a retired Captain with the Bozeman Fire Department) and al
so joined Bozeman Furniture & Appliance that same year. Rikki partnered up with Bill Truex for 30 years at Bozeman Furniture & Appliance where they sold appliances, cabinets and furniture. After her partners retirement, Rikki decided to leave the appliance business and focus on Furniture & Mattresses. With the help of her previous sales Manager, Steve Malby, and bookkeeper, Jessica Knudsen, Rikki opened Rikki’s Furniture Gallery in March of 2016, with a goal to carry as much made in America Furniture as possible at affordable prices. Her love of finding American Made Furniture & Mattresses became a passion of hers and they now carry American made Rugs, Art Work, & Candles also. Rikki and her staff have a very relaxed attitude about furniture shopping and believe that no one should be pressured or followed around, so they encourage their customers to come in, grab some coffee or water and just look around at their leisure. They offer a “kid’s cabin” for the little ones too!
