After 28+ years, the show has come to an end. All that’s left is one final curtain call, one last bow, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it possible.
Trent Bedding is Officially Permanently Closed
& I am officially retiring from the mattress business.
For almost three decades, Bowling Green and Southern Kentucky has allowed me to do something, that I never could have imagined would become such a huge part of my life.
I have not only gotten to help people sleep better,
1 mattress at a time… I’ve got to make some ridiculous commercials. I’ve got to help people in need. I’ve got to meet so many great people. I got to have a lot of fun & Somewhere along the way, Lil Trent even showed up and became part of the story.
But the thing I will remember most has very little to do with mattresses.
You supported me, and because you did, you gave me the opportunity to support this community right back. One of my core beliefs is that a business should support its communities because without the communities, the business isn’t Open…
Over the years I was fortunate enough to help nonprofits, schools, bands, sports teams, dance teams, theater programs, fundraisers, community organizations, families who needed a hand, and countless other causes throughout Southern Kentucky. All Because Of YOU ALL!!
That means more to me than I could ever put into a Facebook post. 
Trent Bedding wasn’t just a business to me.
And this wasn’t just a chapter of my life.
It was pretty much the whole damn Novel.
28+ years of friendships, memories, laughter, mistakes, crazy commercials, long days, good years, hard years, and thousands upon thousands of people who trusted me to help them with something as simple and important as getting a good night’s sleep.
So I’m not sad today. (Maybe A Lot)
I’m happy.
I’m grateful.
And yeah, it’s a little bittersweet.
I’ll miss the people. I’ll miss helping someone find the right mattress. I’ll miss hearing somebody yell “Mr. Bedding” at me in Walmart OR, Hey, Aren’t You That Guy On TV” at the IGA. And truth be told, I’m probably going to miss Lil Trent more than I should admit.
But life is short.
Sometimes you have to know when it’s time to close one book so you can find out what the next one is going to be about.
I have no idea what’s next.
And for the first time in a very long time, I’m perfectly okay with that.
To Bowling Green and every community throughout Southern Kentucky that supported me for 28+ years:

Thank You for supporting me.
Thank You for letting me give back.
And most of all, THANK YOU, for letting me make my Living In Bed, all these years.
It’s been One Hell Of A Ride.
