If you have an old table that you can’t bring yourself to part with, don’t fret! Follow these steps for restoration and you can get it looking like new ✨

Step 1
Sand down the old finish with a course grit to bring out the natural color and rid the furniture of potential splinters.

Step 2
Evaluate the damage and repair accordingly. In this case, hard splits were glued back and humidify splits were filled in. Re-sand with a fine grit.

Step 3
Wipe off all sawdust, and add a stain of your choosing. In this case, a Mission Oak finish was applied to bring out the natural grain of the old oak. Violà! You now have an heirloom piece that will last another 100 years!
