So over the weekend I kept getting all these new followers for my Instagram account, (of which I had three post). I was like, Huh? Downeast shared the article! On Instagram. This morning? Five new emails, with two mentioning Instagram. On Instagram, apparently people can send you messages there, too. Yikes. Five messages there, too!

Banner day over here. Doweast Magazine arrived with the article about Cushy jobs and The Recovery Room.

Funny story, 50 years ago my parents scoured Downest Magazine's real estate segment and got in the car to drive from Massachusetts to Maine. They bought a pretty older cape on The Cat Mousam Road. Then moved us all to Maine. I started as a freshman at Kennebunk High, a regional school. Don't do that. It was so miserable for the first few months my Dad bought me a horse and a bike! My Mom, lots of new clothes from Casual Corner. I LOVED that store. No one realized I was "new".

SO, you could say Downeast Magazine in the reason I live here in the Great State of Maine 50 years later.

Oh, and my first Social Security check arrived today. Dinner is on me!
