Cabinets, Furniture, Bunk beds and custom beds, interior rails Hello my is Norman Minnick. Most just call me Norm. I’ve been doing construction since 1981.

I started out just as a laborer for a company in Virginia and worked my way to superintendent. I left the company in Virginia and went out on my own subbing for a trim company for many years, becoming the owner’s go-to-guy when needed for other work. Not only did I do trim work but I also installed cabinets and did stair rails for him. Later I started doing most of his custom work; including build

ing cabinets, fireplace mantels and bookcases. I’ve done work for many different builders in Maryland and Virginia which lead me to custom work also in Pennsylvania and West Virginia for him. Many jobs lead me to individuals which liked my work and I started building more custom-built items. I very much enjoy what I do. I don’t like taking short cuts and don’t like using cheap materials just to make the job less expensive. I believe in doing the job right the first time. I learned from subbing for the trim company that things don’t always go as planned and that some things later down the road may require a little attention. I always like pride in myself in addressing any problems if it was due to workmanship or materials. I work from my little shop in Boonsboro, Maryland. I am just a one-man little operation, don’t let that stop you from checking out my work. I also am dabbling in repurposing old furniture into other functions and I do some repair work to furniture. Welcome to 2019, I have a little cabinet shop in Boonsboro, MD. If you have a picture or a design, I can probably build it; cabinets, bookcases, island cabinets, vanities, tables, coffee tables, end tables, beds & bunk beds, shelves, closet shelving, etc. I can also repair most wood items. You may be able to buy items cheaper from one of the box stores; however, my cabinets are made from wood and not particle board with veneer. Check first what it’s made of and how it’s been built. Will it withstand a little moisture without swelling up and peeling? I stand behind my work. My work comes with a year warranty for workmanship and/or materials. Check out my folders of pictures to see some of my work. I don’t take short cuts to save on money, I’m not the cheapest place in town but cheaper than the bigger companies with high overhead. So support your little guy that’s just making a living and not into the big profits. Feel free to share this post with others.
