I'm a big fan of "staycations" & here is why-
It's a running joke amongst our family that everytime we plan a trip something happens the day before. (Dog ends up needing emergency surgery/kids suddenly get hands/foot/mouth, a hurricane)

So I've gotten really good at curating "vacation vibes". It's a specialty drink, a bubbly song, a fun family night out without stress. It's a mindset & a little taste I hope you walk away with.🍹

I'm one of only a handful of mobile bars in Iowa that actually gets licensing in place for events, and here is why-
It's a pain in the ass.
But after doing this for 9 years I KNOW the process & have gotten hundreds of licenses. Nothing grinds my gears more than someone in local authority trying to "tell" me the process because they dropped the ball.
As the licensee- we can see when the application is delivered to local authority. I get updates all along the way. But I've also learned in the last 9 years that it's not worth arguing but to look for a better path to serve my clients.

I'm going to be making adjustments to my event rental packages to make this a more hassle free experience for both myself & my clients. Local & State both receive $ for licensing fees but now with their "no refund" policy, why would they play fair?

It's time for a change, friends. ❤️

Since y'all liked my last wine/chicken pic I need to link our Farmstead page- The Filling Farmstead. I've always been a supporter of "just mash all of your hobbies together & you'll find your people!"
This is just an extension of that. ❤️🫶
If you ever travel around HW17 towards stanhope- swing on by our acreage & check out the farmstand goodies! This is my 3rd season doing a farmstand & I absolutely love having this creative outlet.

My little licensing paperwork specialist- supporting me through the new "system".
This is my 9th year in business & the State has only changed the process about 50 times. 😅
But when I first started I had to mail in documents & get everything officially notorized. So I can't really complain 😉🍷
