Jason just finished this beautiful spalded maple live edge table. He gave it a resin finish for extra durability glossiness. It really rings out the richness in this piece.

This was done for a customer to match cabinets that had been done previously. I love the character that ambrosia maple has. This wood is getting harder to find since what makes this wood unique is a beetle. They lay eggs inside the maple and it damages the tree. Now the trees are getting treated for the beetles so this won’t happen so often. It’s sad for the tree but it make’s beautiful wood!
