Finally got into the wood shop after the move. Commissioned piece to make what was in the last pic. A record stand out of walnut with copper accents. I think I did a decent job recreating from the picture.

Client gave it to her husband last night and he loved it so it was a success. It’s already filled up and in its new home.

Some boards made and sold/given as gifts for Christmas. I can now share so as not to spoil.

Two finished cutting boards for sale. Just in time for Christmas gifting!

[SOLD] Darker one is cherry & walnut with a Purple Heart accent. 13.25” x 10.5” x 1”

Other is maple, cherry, wenge, & padauk. 12.5” x 10.5” x 1”

$60 each.

Comes with board butter (oil and beeswax mix) for maintaining the wood for years to come

Fun little project over the past few days. Restoring a 95 year old cedar chest. It still has a lot of its 'character' as I didnt want to strip it down and remove all the blemishes. But hinge points were all patched. Several major cracks repaired. And a new stain and finish coat for the lid. As well as new skirting around the bottom as the original was damaged beyond saving and partially missing. It was delivered home to its owner today. Marybeth Wilde Anderst Thanks for letting me give it new life!

First shop project in a while. Not fine woodworking but a lot of fun completing a project for tomorrows pinewood derby. Trophies for first through third for each den. And a large trophy for our meeting place that will get the name of the Scout with the fastest car added each year. Individual trophies hold the scouts car for display. Big one is roughly 2 ft tall
