Driving home from the woodshop yesterday when all of a sudden a bald eagle flew within feet of my truck and flew across a pond. This is the best my camera could capture as it stalked me until I left. So happy to see more of them in recent years, but this was the closest I’ve ever been to one

Went shopping for some boards today, ended up picking up two exotic woods from Africa. The dark brown one is wenge with a cool looking bit of sapwood. The other is Padauk, one of my favorite species. I love it’s bright and dark red patterns, looks so cool when it’s finished!
