For any of you do it yourselfers, this is a good tip! Use a washer to make a line following the contours of a wall. Since the washer is round,it will follow any inperfections of the wall !

A custom mini-rocking chair that our lead supervisor made for his God Daughter a few years ago. It was custom designed just for her (about 1/2 the size of a normal one), with extended rear rocking rails to make it very difficult to tip over backwards. The cushions that were hand made for it were taken off to take the picture. It is powder coated, but due to the fact it is kept outside and not covered up, it has a little surface rust on it.

This is a four sided roof of a detached 2-1/2 car garage that we replaced. We stripped the roof down to the joists, removing all of the old materials. Once it was all removed, we replaced all of the plywood, tar-paper and the shingles. There were many rain days on this project, so we covered up the roof with a giant plastic tarp when we werent able to work on it. The door, windows, lights, part of the soffet and the down spouts for the gutters were also replaced.

This section of handrailing was completely rusted out and had to be remade. The posts going into the concrete were crumbling apart, and the old railing completely broke off. The new railing was made from scratch, matching the old railing perfectly. New holes had to be drilled into the concrete, the new railing was set in place, then industrial grade quick dry concrete was poured around the posts to hold it in place. There were also a couple other sections of handrail where only the posts were rusted out. On those, the posts going into the ground were completely cut out, new holes were drilled into the concrete, new posts were put in and welded, and new concrete was poured. That is an economical way to make the railing strong without having the total cost of replacing the entire railing. Once it is finished, you cant even tell that any posts or sections of railings were cut out and replaced.

This is a section of a handrail going up a curved staircase, leading to the front porch of a house. The top and bottom rails, along with the pickets were in pretty good shape. It just needed some sanding on the rusty spots and a new paint job to make it look like new.

This is one of the many summer projects that we had. This a beautiful custom deck with two seperate sets of stairs to enter or exit the deck. The deck was stained after it was completed. The next phase of the project will be to add a stone walkway going from the stairs over to a small brick patio. That project will be done next summer.

Holiday hint of the day: When you are dying your clothes, does it seem to take longer and longer for them to dry? Do you sometimes have to put them in for a second dry cycle? Most of the time its a simple fix. The lint gets caught up in the exhaust vent which restricts the air from exiting the dryer properly. As the lint in the exhaust pipe accumulates more and more, it will take longer and longer for the clothes to dry. This will take you more time to get the laundry done, and will waste electricity by adding extra drying time. If you have this problem, call us and we can come out and clean it for you. Call or email us for details or questions.

This is the new parts assembled and ready for the toilet to be installed. The cast iron fl**ge in the floor was broke, so the bolts that hold the toilet down had nothing to attatch to, and as such could not be tightened. A new fl**ge was installed (the silver part), then a new spacer was put on top of the fl**ge (the white PVC), with the new wax ring on the top (the orange colored ring). We always use bleach to clean the drain area and floor under the toilet to kill all germs and bacteria. Next step was installing the toilet.
