Matthew Ward has been involved in the timber industry for over 10 years.

He got his start in the log yards of Payette River Lumber in Garden Valley, Idaho and during his career there had a hand in the production of over 20 Million feet of custom cut timbers, lumber, and other wood products. Throughout his time there he oversaw everything from basic daily operations to new product development and marketing. At the conclusion of his lengthy career at PRL Matthew had achi

eved the status of Certified Timber Grader and had reached the 5th anniversary of his induction into the Wood Mizer Million Board Foot Club. In 2006 Matthew opened the business now known as the Idaho Historic Lumber Company, and operated under the name Twice Timbers Reclaim. Through projects such as the Lucky Custer and Greyhound Mine Reclamation and many more the new business quickly established itself as a producer of exceptionally high quality reclaimed materials. Matthew’s insistence upon attention to detail and quality continues to be the driving force behind the success of the Idaho Historic Lumber Company.
