Just finishing up my latest Rocker, Made with Prime Pine and Really nice Heart Pine I just bought from Mike Stanley out of Danielsville. These rocking chairs take awhile to make and require acute attention to detail.I've sold four already in 2023..ok, JS...Anyhoo, here's my afternoon's work on getting the Heart Pine seating to fit... I make the Heart Pine Dowels myself and try to align the grain with the wood...I sand down the dowels and get it smooth. I'll be taking the back off tomorrow to sand the seat and then reassemble it with dowels on the back and arm rests and then sand them down..There ya go...Gotta walk the dogs now..
