Stopped in at Metro Hardwoods today to find out they are under new management. First off, congratulations to Jeff Edemann on retirement - I envy you, buddy. I'll miss our Saturday conversations. I've been promoting Metro Hardwoods for several years; for those of you who followed my newsletter, you understand. Metro Hardwoods supports the KC, Independence, and surrounding areas with an incredible wood selection. You need to stop in and check them out. They hooked me up today with some great wood!

It's been awhile since I have posted here. We moved a couple of years ago and I'm set up to work from my own shop. The new town is very small business unfriendly so I opted to close the business which covered every aspect of what we did. I now sell all the patterns (which I own per my lawyer) as Dan Wilckens Designs. I am in the process of a new website which should be live soon. I still have EVERY pattern from WW-0001 to current. Been a minute since I have shared anything here. This is the latest thing I have completed. Not my design and not for sale. But I took their artwork and converted it into a multi layer design. These are to honor a lost coworker who followed sasquatch around the country. He made me a believer. So I saw this had to do it.

Hope everyone survived the 4th of July. Here are a couple recent projects that I have finished up. The July coaster/clock pattern for the newsletter and the Garden Gazebo clock which is an older pattern (20+ years old) that has always been one of my favorites.
