Safety Tip #2 for this Week - please share to help others; this is critical information.
Teenagers think they are invincible. Help them see the pictures they want to post may have info in the background. There may be a family photo, and predators see that there are younger siblings. Perhaps they see trophies, so they may go to the school when that sport is being played. In 2019, a Japanese pop star was stalked and assaulted by a man who used the reflections in her sunglasses from photos she posted online to discover her location.

Safety Tip #1 for this Week - please share to help others; this is critical information.
Open communication between children and parents. We all sometimes struggle with it, but you must keep trying even if their vibe is leave me alone. They aren't going to lie about something uncomfortable to tell their parents. Sometimes, parents do not believe their child when they tell them about a friend who is being molested. One boy called a police detective for help because his dad didn't believe that someone was sextorting him online.

Safety Tip #2 for this Week - please share to help others; this is critical information.
Your child needs to understand that once a picture or video is sent online/phone, it's gone and can't be retrieved. A predator will sell the images to other predators. They will ask for more pictures. The predator may ask the child if they want them back. "Of course I will give them back, it will cost you $$, Let's meet." Now, with AI, they can take a picture and transform it into a naked one. Children are killing themselves over this.

Safety Tip: Predators try to make friends with your child and gain trust. They are doing what people call "love bombing them". They may say, "I will give you everything your parents won't give you. You are the most beautiful. Look for changes in your child's looks and personality.
